You've done better

This is a good song, but you've done a lot better with others. I don't like the way for the first 40 seconds that it is just a loop of piano and synth. When the drums came in, it did make it sound a lot better, but there wasn't a noticable build up to them and they were just a bit too quiet.. The chimes that come in do make it sounds nice and airy though and the melody played on them is very nice as well.. The section after 1:26 seems a bit empty, but after 1:47 it gets back it's fullness again.
Overall, not a bad piece, but you have done better. Don't take this as harsh criticism, use it to improve. Keep making stuff.

Why the low rating?

This is truly a great piece. The melodies are very nice and flow nicely, the drums are fine and the ambience really gives it feel. Great work Lawrie! Keep it up ;)
